IMPORTANT NOTE:  This GPAK is only compatible with Economy or Premium Burrow top quilts produced before February 2nd, 2021.  For quilts purchased after that date, please see our New GPAK

The included 3 mini-cordlocks, 6 mitton hooks, and 3 - 65" shockcord will work with your pad by attaching it to our standard loops on the Burrow (topquilt).  Slide your pad inside the cords, and the quilt will be secured for a good seal against the chill.

Works to attach to pad, but not to keep out drafts

Posted by TJ Gerrity on 29th Jan 2019

The straps do work to attach the quilt to the pad, but don't allow the adjustments that would help keep drafts out. I love my quilt itself but am considering buying an Enlightened Equipment quilt simply for the pad attachments which offer much better adjustability needed on those colder shoulder-season nights.

    Attachment kit needs work

Posted by Rebecca on 8th Jan 2019

I used these on a 24F night last weekend. The elastic is fine but the clips don’t work. They’re difficult to attach, but, every time I moved, slipped off the loops on the bag, the elastic or each other when I tried to clip them to themselves. Super ineffective. Blargh.

    Response from Hammock Gear:
Thanks for the honest review Rebecca! We will take your experience into consideration.

    Attachment kit

Posted by Jon on 11th Oct 2018

I love my quilt but I am disappointed with the attachment kit. The clips are a pain to attach to the quilt itself and come off easily and accidentally. I have only tested the kit at home but I can't imagine trying to reattach the clips in a dark tent. I'm looking for other options...

    Works well

Posted by Nick Holes on 24th Apr 2018

I bought these to use with my Econ Burrow 30 long wide in case I ever go to ground. They work well at holding the quilt sides down, but can slip off the loops that are on the quilt. Would def recommend to anyone using a sleeping pad with their quilt.

Clups are useless, but cord works

Posted by Unknown on 2nd Feb 2018

The clips are useless, they fall off if not kept under tension. I will be simply threading the straps through the fabric of quilt in the future. This should be an adequate workaround.

    it works

Posted by Eliot on 23rd Jan 2018

Does it’s job, but periodically becomes undone. Also it doesn’t keep the quilt down when you roll. Probably won’t use them much. Quilts are great quality but pad straps could use work

    Need Instructions

Posted by NMT on 7th Nov 2017

I'd really appreciate instructions on how to use the ground pad attachment kit. I see the photo, and I can try to duplicate that. But some instructions, diagram would be nice. Also, I only received 2 of those things that have an opening and you obviously push the cord through, but the photo shows 3. I have 3 cords.

This attacment kit gives you more line and clips you'll ever need. Strong, sturdy, and light weight. Great kit to invest in.

    another great product!

Posted by Myrl E Rodgers on 20th Jun 2017

I got this for when I occasionally have to stay in a shelter and not my hammock. I'm sure it'll work fine though, like all products I've gotten from hammock gear!

    lost after opening package

Posted by Unknown on 18th Jun 2017

Definitely saw it in the Box with my Burroughs 40 quilt, however, I have never been able to find it. I only wish it would have come with a paper tag on the bag or something because it disappeared. Maybe if it had a tag across the tiny bag it would have not been lost.

Response from Hammock Gear: We'd be happy to replace that for you at no charge. If you see this, please shoot us an email at There was no name in the review, so we are unable to track your order.

    Lightweight and small package

Posted by Downhill n Quincy on 24th Aug 2016

Haven't used it yet. However, I ordered it along with my extra wide quilt just in case I was unable to hang off the ground due to being above tree line. I took it out of it's bag, made the adjustments to the cords and placed it back in it's bag being ready if it's needed. The ground pad attachments are so light and small I plan on packing it every time I go backpacking, just in case it's needed.
