Warranty Policy

If any of our products fail within the first year of receipt, and the original purchaser suspects that this is due to a manufacturer's defect you are encouraged to contact customer service to file a warranty claim. You will be required to submit pictures of the defect and return the item for inspection at your cost. If a warranty is not identified during inspection, we will provide an estimate for repair work if possible. You will be required to pay the cost of return shipping. If after inspection the defect is decidedly covered under warranty we will either repair, replace or refund the original purchase price at our discretion. In the event that your warranty item is repaired or replaced, we will cover the cost of return shipping. We will also refund the cost of shipping the item to us for inspection, if provided a receipt. This warranty protects the original owner against manufacturing defects in craftsmanship and materials. All items originally sold with imperfections are also covered by our warranty, excluding the imperfections disclosed prior to purchase. Damage due to accident, negligence, excessive or improper use, or the natural breakdown of materials over an extended period of time is not covered.

If you suspect that you have a warranty issue please reach out to us at sales@hammockgear.com to file a claim. If you need to submit used gear for warranty inspection, please send it in a condition that is comfortable and sanitary for our craftspeople to work with. It is unreasonable to expect our team members to handle soiled or smelly items. Heavily used items containing debris or offensive odors may be rejected and returned at the sender's cost.
