Thank you for choosing Hammock Gear. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Orders and Shipping

We currently use USPS®, UPS®, and FedEx® for all shipments.

  • Insurance and Signature Confirmation:
    All customers have the option to insure their package or require a signature upon delivery for an additional fee. This fee will be clearly indicated at checkout, and payment will be processed along with your order. Once your product has shipped from our facility, the responsibility for delivery falls to the chosen mail courier. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance and opting for signature confirmation to safeguard against any potential delivery issues.

  • Shipping Without Insurance or Signature:
    If you do not select insurance or signature confirmation, your package will be shipped via USPS Priority or UPS Ground without insurance. We will provide you with a tracking number, but if delivery is confirmed by the courier (USPS or UPS) and your package is lost or stolen, we cannot assist in the recovery of the package. To protect your order, we recommend adding insurance and requiring signature confirmation at checkout.

  • Special Shipping Needs:
    If you have any special shipping requests or concerns, please contact our customer service team at sales@hammockgear.com immediately after placing your order.

 


 

2. Domestic Orders

  • Orders within the United States can take 5-10 business days via USPS or 3-6 business days via UPS after shipping, depending on the final destination relative to our Ohio facility. For more details, please visit USPS.com or UPS.com.

 


 

3. International Orders

  • Customs, Duties, and Taxes:
    All international orders are subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees. By accepting these terms of service, you agree to take full responsibility for paying any such fees imposed by your country. Please be aware that some customs fees can be significant, but the package values must remain true to invoices under U.S. Law.

  • Shipping Limitations:
    We can ship to virtually any address worldwide, though there are some restrictions on certain products. Please ensure your country permits the receipt of the items you are purchasing before placing an order.

  • Shipping Costs:
    Shipping rates for international orders are weight-based. The weight of each item can be found on its product detail page. Shipping costs are calculated by rounding up to the nearest full pound in accordance with the policies of our shipping partners.

 


 

4. Conditions of Use

By making a purchase on our website or contacting our team, you agree to receive emails from HammockGear.com with updates on your order, as well as promotions, product launches, and general brand information. Hurst Environmental LLC (DBA Hammock Gear) is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services. This includes damages that may occur due to shipping delays, lost packages, or failure to receive goods.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Ohio. By using this website, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ohio.
