    Dyneema Stuff Sacks

Posted by Gary Allman on 26th May 2021

These are great little sacks for organizing small items of gear.

I bought three, two extra small, and one small. The extra small bags are a nice size. To give an idea of what they will hold, one holds my tarp stakes and my hammock tree straps, the other holds my battery bank, charging cables, and (I am embarrassed to say) a 30-foot string of LED fairy lights!

The small bag holds all my personal hygiene items, cathole trowel (in a Dyneema stake sack), baby wipes, Towel, hand sanitizer, etc.

Together they have really helped me organize the contents of the mesh back pocket of my pack. Accessing stuff, and putting things away is now much easier.

A great little sack, which I use to carry my fire starting kit.

    Stuff sack

The stuff sack was much larger than expected. Great Value for the price. Workmanship looks good. I have not used it much, but see no reason why it should not hold up.

    Dyneema stuff sacks

I will start with 4-stars cause I am impressed. Give me more time with these bags and I could refine this review upward. I bough a few sizes and different colors. I use them for organizing like kinds of gear, first aid, small tools/gear stuff that likes to get lost in a larger pack/bag. The fabric is what got my attention. Definitely durable and I really like the way it slides over other bags. It makes it much easier to pack a dry bag or backpack. Its more expensive yes. My father engraved the following in my memory about gear: Buy the best and only cry once.
