Soft Yet Durable Woven Nylon Fabric
The body of this nylon camping hammock uses a single layer of proprietary woven nylon that feels genuinely soft rather than slick and synthetic. A diamond ripstop weave minimizes stretch, so you lie flatter and sleep better through the night. Rolled hems finish all four sides for a clean, long-lasting edge. As a result, the fabric balances everyday durability with a comfortable, broken-in feel.
A Netless Gathered-End Hammock Design
This is a netless hammock by design, which keeps the nylon camping hammock light and packable. When the bugs come out, simply add a Bottom Entry Bug Net for full protection. Therefore, you carry netting only when you actually need it. The open, gathered-end shape also makes getting in and out quick and intuitive.

Every nylon camping hammock is finished with quadruple-stitched suspension channels for serious strength where it counts. Built-in tie-outs, pack hooks, and d-rings let you stabilize an underquilt or clip on accessories with ease. For colder nights, pair it with a full-length underquilt to stay warm from below. Setup, Stability & Storage
The Standard ships with a basic ultralight suspension, so this nylon camping hammock is ready to hang on arrival. It includes a structural ridgeline, two continuous loops, and two carabiners, and the whole kit stows in a double-ended stuff sack. Setup and tear-down stay quick and tidy. Add a dedicated hammock tarp overhead and you are covered in any weather.

I ordered my HG standard hammock in 70D ripstop and I couldn’t be happier. Everything is to notch and the material is super soft and quiet. I wanted the standard hammock due to the ability to add and remove accessories as needed and the price for a not only made in the USA, but also being an Ohio company sold me. Can’t go wrong with this one!
Ordered a single layer 11′ ‘standard’ hammock in charcoal grey. Fabric has a nice feel to it with a texture more like a cotton so it does not feel plastic. Everything is well sewn and the ridgeline is definitely structural! Double ended stuff sack (bishop bag) is a thoughtful addition. The pack hooks are great too and help with attaching an underquilt.
I used to buy modular hammocks with zip off nets and winter covers but have moved on from this to buy netless hammocks that i can add winter socks or summer socks/nets too as required as separate elements. This means i can upgrade or replace bits easily if they become worn or damaged without replacing the whole lot. Having a standard hammock, especially one which is well priced, high quality with the right amount of additional elements such as pack hooks for UQ make this the most flexible and future proof option for myself. I’ve got a number of hammocks from different makers, including cottage vendors and this is definitely my favourite. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this hammock and suggest getting one and adding elements to it for the ultimate custom job
I have now spent over a week in this hammock. Slept from 40 degrees up to 75 (couple different trips). This is a great hammock. If you have only ever slept in ENO style hammocks, then this is a game changer. It is a different style of layand a better oneId say. Material and stitching seems good, feels quality.
