Our Mesh Tarp Sleeve is 12 feet long, features a one piece design, and will cover your entire tarp up to 12 ft in length, including the guyline.  Whether it be Dyneema® Fiber or Sil-Poly tarps, this sleeve will fit them all.

If you are looking for a quick, sleek way to deploy and store your tarp, this is it!  Made from super strong dense mesh, this sleeve offers a great way to help ventilate your damp tarp while out on the trail.  It also allows your tarp to be both readily available and consolidated above your hammock on those beautiful clear nights.  Should you feel a sprinkle or two, simply slide the sleeve off and deploy your tarp quickly before a potential downpour.

Once installed, the sleeve can easily live on your ridgeline or be removed based on your preference. We also recommend stowing your tarp in this sleeve before placing your shelter in its stuff sack. This makes packing, unpacking, and orienting your tarp before setup very quick and easy. No more fumbling with large swaths of fabric or air trapped in the tarp when stuffing away for storage.

*Please note that if you are using this sleeve with a Dyneema tarp, you must roll the panels from the bottom towards the ridgeline before stowing inside the sleeve. Once rolled into the sleeve, continue to roll into a tight ball before stowing in stuff sack. This method prevents damaging the unique material, adding longevity to your Dyneema® Tarp.

    Mesh Sleeve

Posted by Jason on 7th Sep 2022

This has made setup and takedown exponentially easier and faster. I had one of the sleeve style before but it had some ventilation and odor issues if you didn’t turn it inside out…. The mesh sleeve completely solves this problem, just as easy to deploy but it allowed everything to dry out while hiking. A++.+ product and A+++ seller who shipped fast and provided a fantastic product that was exactly as described.

    Super Convenient

Posted by Cassandra Cridland on 16th Oct 2021

I use this sleeve with my Dyneema Palace tarp, and so far, I love the convenience. The one piece skin is easier to use than the double skins I have on my hammock. Rolling the tarp and sliding the skin is so much faster and easier to do then my previous gear setup. My tarp is cleaner, and I’m less frustrated when camping solo.

    Falling apart

Posted by Patrick Brochu on 30th Jul 2021

I used this on 3 outings so far, and the sleeve is coming apart at the seams. I haven't abused it, just put away my tarp and stuffed it in my stuff sack. Not impressed.

    Response from HG:
We're sorry to hear about this Patrick! We'll have a replacement shipped to you ASAP. Sounds like yours is definitely defective.

    Mesh Tarp Sleeve -Get It

Posted by Greg Donovan on 4th Jul 2021

Bought one for my 12-foot Journey tarp. Makes setup and take down a breeze. Nothing worse than a billowing tarp snagging on nearby brush and briers. About to order one for my new Quest tarp to keep it neat and contained.

One you try it you wont look back

Posted by jeff carr on 10th Jun 2021

I use this on my journey 11 ft tarp. If you have one you know how fun it is to get into its stuff sack. this not only makes it easy to put up and take down, it also makes it easier to get into the sack. would highly recommend. Does not weigh anything.

    super skin

Posted by david n. on 9th Apr 2021

Just returned from a week-long kayak hammocking adventure. These skins worked excellently for me and my partner's tarps, as we setup out of drybags and had new camps going downriver. Mesh kept tarp moisture from getting mold and unpleasant. Definitely recommend for multi-day hammock camping

Makes putting the tarp away very easy

Posted by Cory on 12th Feb 2021

So packing up the tarp every morning before I start hiking again is my longest task, and this mesh bag basically cuts that time by 3/4 of what it would normally take. The deployment of it is much better as well.

I would say however that my only gripe, which is just me being ridiculously picky, is that the skinny end can still slip over the tarp some. But that is it. Other than that this is a fantastic item.

    Tarp sleeve

Posted by Doug on 11th Feb 2021

I really like the mesh sleeve. It is super light and makes it super easy for hanging and putting my tarp up. I do not know why I waited so long to get this.

No brainer add on for your tarp

Posted by Darren Boyle on 2nd Feb 2021

I should have gotten one of these the day I started using tarps. Tear down, Set up, and especially just getting the tarp up and out of the way to enjoy the view could not be easier with this sleeve. This should be a recommended add on for all tarps at time of purchase.
