Our Mesh Tarp Sleeve is 12 feet long, features a one piece design, and will cover your entire tarp up to 12 ft in length, including the guyline.  Whether it be Dyneema Fiber or Sil-Poly tarps, this sleeve will fit them all.

If you are looking for a quick, sleek way to deploy and store your tarp, this is it!  Made from super strong dense mesh, this sleeve offers a great way to help ventilate your damp tarp while out on the trail.  It also allows your tarp to be both readily available and consolidated above your hammock on those beautiful clear nights.  Should you feel a sprinkle or two, simply slide the sleeve off and deploy your tarp quickly before a potential downpour.

Once installed, the sleeve can easily live on your ridgeline or be removed based on your preference. We also recommend stowing your tarp in this sleeve before placing your shelter in it's stuff sack. This makes packing, unpacking, and orienting your tarp before setup very quick and easy. No more fumbling with large swaths of fabric or air trapped in the tarp when stuffing away for storage.

*Please note that if you are using this sleeve with a Dyneema tarp, you must roll the panels from the bottom towards the ridgeline before stowing inside the sleeve. Once rolled into the sleeve, continue to roll into a tight ball before stowing in stuff sack. This method prevents damaging the unique material, adding longevity to your Dyneema Tarp.

    Mesh Tarp Sleeve

Posted by Jeremiah G on 18th Mar 2020

Great quality from HG, as usual. I'm used to using a 2-piece tarp sleeve setup so I wasn't sure how I'd like the single tube, but it was surprisingly easy, and did a great job of gathering everything up, sliding from one end. Stitching is great, and delivery was fast.

My only suggestion would be to perhaps add a couple inches to the overall length. It says it's good for tarps up to 12', and I'm using it on a 12' tarp - when you get to the end, you have to kind of tuck the end of the tarp in to get it cinched up, and that ends up pulling the opposite end a little exposing a few inches of the other side of the tarp. You can then work it back and get it to fit reasonably well, but adding an additional 2-3 inches would make this near perfect.

    Thanks, HG!

    Tarp Sleeve

This mesh tarp sleeve is an excellent addition to my hammock/tarp system. It makes setting up and breaking down my tarp a cinch. Simply attach the ridge line to 2 trees then slide the mesh back to stake out the tarp. Break down is as simple as pulling up the stakes and sliding the mesh over the tarp to contain everything. Doesn't get much easier.

    Mesh Tarp Sleeve

The sleeve fits the Journey tarp well, with room for guy lines tucked in; it's too soon to tell how durable it will be, but it's very, very light.

Great product. Could be a couple of inches longer to easily fit 12 foot tarp.

    Cool beans!

Works great! Makes my tarp so quick and easy to deploy. It does make the tarp a bit bulkier in my pack than using the tarp's stuff sack, but I consider it an acceptable compromise for the convenience.

My first tarp sleeve, Not really qualified to comment. I did notice something really nice though. After putting the tarp in the sleeve I was able to get it back into the original stuff sack without a lot of bother. Thought that was really nice. It performs .

    Mesh Tarp Sleeve

Posted by Jim on 10th Dec 2019

I ordered the Mesh Tarp sleeve to simplify my tarp setup. I love the ability to unroll my tarp (in the sleeve and set up my 11' sil polly tarp continuous ridge line with my Dutchware components. This is a very simple process now. When it's all set, I just slide the sleeve to the side and stake out my tarp. Love that it's mesh, so my tarp has a little more chance to dry out when stowed though I have not really been able to test this yet.

    Cool beans!

I'm a hammock novice. It takes me awhile to pitch my hammock and get everything perfect. Picked this up for my tarp, it dramatically improved my pitch time. So I tried it on my hammock and it fits over the hammock AND my 30 degree underquilt. I've ordered another so I can keep the hammock and tarp separate. I've also got a much higher quality 0 degree underquilt on order. I'm really hoping the new quilt will fit in the sleeve with the hammock. Only slight gig on it, the mesh picks up leaves and sticks if it hits the ground.

    Hammock Gear Mesh Tarp Sleeve

Posted by John B on 4th Dec 2019

I own two of these, one for my hammock tarp and a second for the (silnylon) tarp that I use in when canoe camping. I like it because it is lightweight, it accommodates my tarps, is reasonably-priced and is easy to use. I especially like that it is a mesh sleeve which helps with drying a wet tarp. I can attach the sleeve with the wet tarp inside it to the outside of my backpack or lay it out on my other gear in the canoe to dry in the sun as I paddle.
