Great for almost everything but adjustable ridge lines. At the same measurement of others I made with amsteel the one I made with the spectra from you company is more slippery and wont hold if if get a little more force that the when you get the perfect hang. To make it work I had to make the berry part 3 inches longer than the regular 9 inches I normally make. Other than that a very good line for the price.
Works great. Made soft shackles and Whoopi Slings.
Made 4 Whoopi slings. It was so easy to work with. Used a piece of copper wire as our pull tool.
I didn’t really think a review of amsteel was necessary, so I’m really reviewing HammockGear. Awesome company. Shipped super fast and had the best price I could find. Would definitely order from them again.
In the past I purchased amsteel and it was great quality and very easy to work with. The latest batch must have been from a new supplier and was so much harder to work with and splice. The strands were stiff and would not open up or separate which made splicing it a pain.
