Available in an array of ultralight, wind and water resistant fabric that trap heat while also allowing adequate ventilation to occur through a mesh moon-roof to reduce condensation. Simply zip off your Circadian Pro bug net and replace with this symmetrical camping hammock cover to help seal in your body heat, creating a warm and dry micro climate of comfort. I have liked all the gear from hammock gear. I have not yet tried the winter cover as I have not had cold weather since ordering it. I expect it will fit the hammock and be exactly as advertised. Unsure how much additional warmth it will provide but willing to find out.
The Circadian Pro Winter Top Cover is a first class unit. It is equally as excellent as the Circadian Pro Hammock. It zips in perfectly to provide a draft free and heat retention “cocoon”. The screened in small section is adequate for letting moisture laden breath escape and it also lets you see the sky if you have your upper tarp pulled back. If you need the cover to add warmth to your hammock experience, this is an excellent investment.
The winter top cover is a game changer for cold weather hammocking. Condensation evacuation was great, wind blockage was superb and heat retention was very effective. Its lightweight and perfectly zips into the Circadian Pro without any issue. Looks awesome too!
I used the Circadian Pro winter top cover on a 16°F night and loved it. It helped keep the breeze off me and allowed me to sleep in a bit later without having the sun rise in my eyes.
The top cover does match up well with the tabs on my hammock. Unfortunately it allows a lot of wind in through the middle section on both sides where there are no tabs. This may be okay for shoulder season hangs, but not winter in Canada. Wish I’d put the money into a hammock sock which seem to be around the same price point. Really love the rest of my hammock gear.
