    ZIPPERED BUG NET HAMMOCK

Posted by MATT on 17th Mar 2020

I HAVE BEEN A LONG TIME USER OF A BIG BOX HAMMOCK. I JUST RECEIVED THE HAMMOCK GEAR ZIPPERED BUG NET HAMMOCK AND I AM BLOWN AWAY. THIS HAMMOCK VERY WELL MADE AND SUPER COMFORTABLE! THE BUG NUT ZIPPERED INTO THE HAMMOCK WORKS VERY WELL AND ALSO SAVES A LOT OF WEIGHT IN MY PACK! GOING FROM A 9FT HAMMOCK TO THIS 11 FT HAMMOCK IS A GAME CHANGER AS IT IS VERY COMFORTABLE. THE HAMMOCK ALSO COMES WITH WITH THE STRUCTURAL RIDGELINE AND WHOOPIE SLINGS SO IT IS GOOD TO GO OUT OF THE BOX. I AM EXCITED FOR MANY ADVENTURES WITH THIS AWESOME HAMMOCK!

    Awesome!!

I have enjoyed hammocking for a while, but my standard gathered end, although good for really cold conditions, is not the most comfortable. I’m 6’ and 210lbs and definitely experienced the dreaded shoulder squish most nights. This hammock is so much more comfortable, and I really like not having to worry about which end is which. It still surprises me that the bug netting helps retain some heat, but having the option of removing it allows for tremendous versatility. I’ve had two nIghts, 39 and 41 degrees, with no issues whatsoever. Zippers work super smooth, and I was surprised at how helpful the luminescent pulls proved to be. All in all, a great product and much appreciated.

    Incredible Hammock

Posted by Jay Morrison on 20th Aug 2019

I bought the zippered bug net hammock for my recent Northville Placid Trail thru-hike, and I couldnt be more pleased with how it worked out. It is lightweight, comfortable, easy to deploy, and kept the Adirondack bugs at bay! I paired this hammock with my 12' Journey tarp, and was kept dry, warm, and well-rested. Trail life is luxurious with this setup! What more could you ask for?
