Economy Pillow

Extremely comfortable hammock pillow is just the right size, shape and firmness for me. The sock cord attachment is useful. The weight is exactly as listed, and although slightly heavier than my inflatable, much more comfortable.

I could not be more happier with the pillow I purchased as a gift. In all honesty I have never dealt with a better customer service than Hammock Gear. Definitely recommend this site for all your hammock needs!!!

I'm only docking one star because I haven't used it yet in the field. I tested it on my bed at home and seemed to work fine. The only thing that kills me is I didn't know they had a pillow with higher rated down lighter by an ounce as well. I would've gotten that one instead had I known that. But this pillow was the only one of the two that had a special sale attached it it so this is what I had to get. Will still be a great piece of gear no doubt!

I saw this in a Shug video and decided to try it. It really is a nice light addition to my comfort system. My head stayed out at the right angle. The bungee strap is an added bonus. It fell out a few times when I got up at night but never hit the ground. I recommend that you try this as well. You won’t regret it.

The quality of the pillow was great, but it was a little too small to be effective for me.

I was looking for a UL pillow and dont really care for the inflatable options so when I found these while ordering a quilt I figured I'd give one a try and have been very pleased so far. I know these are not recommended for ground camping use but I had no problem when used with a quality sleeping pad. I was able to lay the pillow on top of my cloths bag and it stayed well lofted all night YMMV. Other nice thing is it packs down so small I can keep it in the same stuff sack as my HG quilt for packing. If your looking for an UL down pillow that wont break the bank and functions better than any inflatable options on the market, you should give one of these a try.

Great quality as always from Hammock Gear. This is a nice upgrade for a guy used to using his wadded up hoodie. Everyone is different and I find I need just a little bit of pillow in the hammock compared to my bed at home. This is just right. Very pleased!

There are two sizes of pillows offered by hammock gear. Both of fantastic quality. Having handled both and giving them a proper testing... The economy pillow I found a bit small for side sleeping. However it’s perfect if you’re a back sleeper. The XL version of the economy pillow is perfect for those of us side sleeping hammock users. Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed! So, I’ve never needed Hammock gears customer service in the past. After they reached out to me over my economy pillow purchase, they went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer over an issue that was of no fault of there’s. And folks, this is over a $20 pillow! I can’t say enough good things about hammock gear. The quality of product is top notch and the customer service, IF you ever need it, is awesome!

The material quality and construction are great as things always are from hammock gear... but the size is about half what I expected. While that will be an advantage to some... for me I wish there were a larger option for us hammock side sleepers. Needless to say, I was a bit underwhelmed when I opened the box. I’ll give it a try but I’m expecting I’ll need more for side sleeping.

Packs down super small. Fits in the stuff sack with my econ 20.
Very impressed with all of their products so far.

Packs down great, stays cool and straps to my sleeping pad. No complaints at all. Hopefully it lasts!
