Our Premium Down Sleeping Hood has been meticulously designed to be the perfect insulation for your head. Use it with your top quilt or sleeping bag for extra comfort while sleeping, or use it while you hike! This version utilizes the same materials used on our Premium Quilts to provide you with the lightest and most packable down hood we have available. By using ultralight shock cord and 3 mini cordlocks, we’ve created a system which allows you to tighten or loosen the face opening for comfort and provide security from movement. In addition to the cinch cord system for the face opening, our down hood for quilts utilizes shock cord under-shoulder straps to help keep the down hood secure while sleeping. The DWR (durable water resistant) coating on the fabric and down help to resist moisture caused from your breath. Lastly, this is our made-to-order version of this product. I do love this hood and I do prefer the design compared to any other I have seen. However, it isn’t as puffy as the pictures make it appear and it seems slightly small. Admittedly my head is larger than average but I wish there were options to add just a little more down and maybe a “xl” version, otherwise I love it.

This is literally the perfect product! I love my quilt and this is an excellent extra thing to bring or not bring depending on how cold it’s going to be. It helps me get out of bed in the morning and do all my camp chores/packing up without being too cold.
Haven’t gotten to use it yet but looks like it will work great for me. Plan to use it for extra warmth while sleeping. Fast delivery and no issues with quality
The routing of the face lanyard would be best if you took the right side and put it into the left eyelet, and the left lanyard into the right eyelet. Less stress on the fabrics. Maybe a little more fethers in the top center compartment.
