It also lets you seal out cold drafts or open up for airflow on warmer nights. In short, this simple accessory makes ground sleeping warmer and far more comfortable. For ground campers, it is one of the easiest upgrades you can make.
Why Your Quilt Slips at Night
On the ground, a top quilt can shift and let cold air sneak underneath. Cold ground saps heat fast, so a snug seal matters. Therefore, you wake up chasing your quilt instead of resting. How the Ground Pad Attachment Kit Works
The Ground Pad Attachment Kit is simple to set up. First, slide your pad through the two closed loops to hold it in place. Then, run the adjustable strap behind your back to seal the sides. Together, they create a snug pocket that traps warmth. It also fits most standard ground pads, and you can combine two sets for wider pads.
