Performance seems on par with similarly designed stoves based on my testing and research. Included accessories (snuffer lid, pot stand, drawstring bag) are an added bonus. Worth the price if you can get it on sale and don’t care for lower cost, DIY designs.
This little stove is awesome. The snuffer cap and the included bag are bonus. This stove performs well cant wait to get it out on the trail thanks Hammock Gear always producing amazing products
Hammock Gears Titanium Alcohol Stove has a slightly wider lip then the other titanium burners which lets me use it in my titanium wood burning stove. Other titanium stoves tended to eventually fall threw the opening. Mine is in the Firebox Nano Gen 2 Titanium stove. One other benefit is that it comes with an flame extinguishing cap in titanium.
The Con is there is no way to secure that cap on the stove to save unused fuel which has to be drained back into the supply container. Which is usually easy to do.
Performs well. Very stable with pot supports installed. Its lightweight, blooms fast and holds adequate volume of fuel. Also include a lid to snuff out and conserve fuel. What’s not to like about it
What I like: 1) thick titanium. Its not going to get hurt or bent; 2) burns hot and boils water fast; 3) is efficient.
The trade offs: 1) its heavier than my FanceeFeast (but it aint gonna get dinged up); 2) it takes a bit of time for it to prime and come to full blossom (setting my pot on it too soon will cause it to go out but it burns jet hot)
Yeah, I like this stove. Cant go wrong with it.
