Ultralight Daisy Chain (Per Foot)

If you would like us to cut multiple sections, simply order the total number of feet you would like, then leave us a note at the end of checkout about how many sections you'd like.  For example if you would like two 10 ft sections of these DIY hammock straps, order 20 feet total, then leave a note in the order comments section.

Our Ultralight Daisy Chain is priced per foot, so you can get these DIY hammock straps as long as you want!  Made with UHMWPE webbing, these ultralight hammock straps come in at an average of 5.5 grams per foot, which is perfect for hangers who are consistently trying to minimize their pack weight. Each 3 inch loop is interwoven to the next loop for an ultralight and durable construction.  Available in a Neon Green / Black design, the 1 inch wide webbing can be used as an adjustable tree strap or act as your hammock suspension with the addition of a carabiner and continuous loop off of your hammock.

Super light and hard easy to see

Posted by Jeff on 8th Jul 2021

I replaced some of my old ones with these. super light and strong. Very happy with these. HG will cut them to the length you need too. I got two 6 ft ones and that seems perfect for almost all situations.

    Excellent

As light as advertised and surprisingly flexible. The sewn loops are very convenient, but I was pleased to discover after losing a caribiner that I could tie a Becket hitch with these straps, as well. Well worth the cost of upgrading from traditional daisy chained tree straps!

    Ultralight Daisy Chain

These daisy chains are super lightweight but yet remain colossally strong. They pack up small and are worth every penny.

    NextGen Straps

These weigh half as much of any previous straps I've ever seen, major upgrade over the old Atlas straps, having loops from one end to the other really helps make them more of a universal fit.

Easy to set up and very lightweight

We use these on the foot end of our hammocks in a tandem setup with the Dutchware spreader bar. It works perfectly and they are easy to set up. The loops are sewn closely together to be more adjustable than most straps that have loops sewn in

    Awesome Stuff

Super light and compact - 2 straps take up less room than one Atlas Strap. Lays flat so it's much more compact, but not quite as convenient for single handed clipping - a fair trade-off.

The ultralight daisy chain works perfectly to lighten and simplify my thru hiking hammock setup. I use Dutch binders to connect to a dcf continuous loop on my gathered end hammock. Simple and lighter!

The florescent green color is too bright for me as I like more stealth camping but the thin light strong DCF daisy chain only comes in that color and it's strength and weight advantage wins out in my kit.

    Perfect tree straps

Posted by Sarah K on 9th Jun 2019

These are so lightweight and small (when packed) but with none of the hassle that can come with lightweight straps (like tangling, not enough strap before getting to rope, etc). Super easy to use and cost only slightly more than heavier daisy chain straps by a lot of the well known manufacturers). I also like that you can just order to length. They seem really stable and strong in use as well. I took the suggestion from the other reviewer and didn’t use the last loop just in case.

Lowphat - awesome purchase, wanted to lighten my load, cause let’s face it: Grams matter! These are super lite, super strong and I recommended to my friends. Happy trails

    Love them!

Posted by Janette on 27th Mar 2019

These are so light! They are not stiff like other daisy chains. They conform well to the tree, no slippage, I like that the chains are actually woven together vs sewn. I bought 6 feet for each end, it was a bit of overkill with my whoopies.
